In San Giovanni Bianco in the two weeks preceding Easter a very heartfelt and scenographic devotional festival is celebrated: the feast of the Holy Thorn.
In the beautiful parish church a relic of the Holy Thorn has been kept since 1495 Thorn that the knight Vistallo Zignoni brought to San Giovanni Bianco after the battle of Fornivo sul Taro, in which he took part.
