Quarry with building potential in Truccazzano (MI), Moncate Locality The lands are registered at Land Registry of City of Truccazzano at Sheet 10: 94-95-96-97-98-99-101-102-104-105-106-119-120-121-123-131-204-205-517-518-519-536 The lot is formed by the South Lake Area within the Provincial Quarry Plan in force (2006-2016), as a recovery quarry called Rg6 - MONCATE Quarry Basin 4 (Annex B) and defined as "terminated quarry in which it is allowed the temporary resumption of mining for the sole purpose of allowing environmental recovery according to the times and methods established in the environmental improvement project ". According to this Plan, the reorganization and environmental arrangement of the quarry can be authorized on the basis of projects presented in compliance with the prescriptions contained in the cards relating to each single recovery quarry or together with several quarries. The New Quarry Plan approved, but not adopted, removed the Rg6 quarry, motivating this choice with environmental and constraint criticalities and for a project that was never activated. However, the 2006-2016 quarry plan is still in force and its effectiveness has been extended until 30/06/2019 at the latest and in any case until the approval by the Lombardy Region of the New 2019-2029 quarry plan. According to the dictates of art. 39 of the L.R. 14/98, in any former quarry it is possible to prepare an environmental qualification project also with the marketing of the resulting material. The Rg6 sheet of the current Quarry Plan reports, for the quarrying site in question, reserves for 700,000 cubic meters of which 160,000 cubic meters have been excavated in the TR2, for which there are potentially 540,000 cubic meters of material to be extracted on site. The fraction actually extractable outside the cemetery constraint, if not derogated, reduces the quantity to 413'800 cubic meters.
