The Palace , dating back to the XVIIth Century, has been subject to a conservative and reinforcing restoration in November 2001 with the aim to preserve the historical and artistic identity of the building without the use of a technology different from the original complex.

The incostistent and irregular position and walls of the lower prospect make think that the building is the result of the addition of small buildings and that a tower or a fortification wall has been incorporated inside the seventeenth-century building,who is supposed to be of Iberian origin because of the rich decorative repertoire found inside.

The building, like all the noble palaces of Montefortino, preserves a well for the collection and supply of rainwater. It is split over four floors of about 1000 square meters where on the lower floors , there are cellars with vaulted ceilings, while on the1st and 2nd floors it is the habitable area where you can still admire frescoes on all the walls and ceilings as well as in the doors, adding an invaluable value.

Despite the restoration in 2001,the palace has been seriously affected by the last earthquake in 2016 , mainly in its strucutre but it will be restored with a non-repayable loan (more than 1 million€) ; time for completion of the works has been estimated in 18 months and they will start soon.
