Farmhouse Contrada Fasciane, Alessano

I am a farmhouse that was born in the enchanting Salento countryside, more precisely in Alessano, a town in the Salento hinterland. Sorghum in the "Fasciane" area, a place characterized by typical rural buildings such as "pajare", "liame" or farms, all immersed in expanses of olive groves bordered by dry stone walls that make the landscape sweet to the eye! in the tranquility of the countryside and despite being surrounded by greenery, it is only a few kilometers from the center of Alessano. My Municipality offers different scenarios, it is located at the foot of the Serra dei Cianci and for this reason it has large countryside, on the opposite side in the Novaglie marina it borders the Adriatic Sea while in the historic center it preserves a particular identity made of baroque architecture and Renaissance. The village of my municipality is one of the best preserved in Salento and the beauty of its architecture stands out in the Palazzo Legari, a building built in 1536 in the Renaissance style in which the Gonzagas also lived, in the Palazzo Sangiovanni and in the Palazzo Ducale, a fortified building with elegant decorations which soften the appearance created at the end of the fifteenth century. The center of Alessano is also enriched by the numerous religious architectures that are resolved into splendid churches, among which the church of the Santissimo Salvatore, the church of Sant'Antonio which was built between the end of the 16th and the beginning of the 17th century among the most ancient buildings of Alessano and, according to an internal epigraph, built by St. Francis of Assisi himself and the Collegiate Church, majestic and baroque, which leaves the gaze enchanted. As if this were not enough, this so varied reality also has a rupestrian village located along the route that connects Alessano to Marina di Novaglie which is considered the symbol of oil culture due to the presence of two mills still in use. full of wonders, in Alessano in the “Fasciane” area I am a farmhouse of about 64 square meters which is located on a 1.8 hectare plot of land with olive trees. I have two large rooms with traditional vaults, probably once used as a refreshment area for animals as the stone feeders are still present, while external stairs lead to the solar area of relevance where you can enjoy a view of the surrounding area. dominated by olive trees and red earth. I also have a cistern adjacent to me. My position in the countryside allows you to enjoy the sought-after tranquility, but I am still well connected to the town and services thanks to the proximity to the SP 79.
