Farmhouse via San Giuseppe, Castrignano del Capo

I am a land of about 23,000 square meters which is located between two different realities, the Municipality of Castrignano del Capo characterized by its ancient village and the marina of Santa Maria di Leuca known for its enchanting scenery. to be a few kilometers from the ancient center of Castrignano del Capo called "Borgo Terra" which represents the first rural society of the country and which dates back to the Middle Ages consisting of a series of small and twisted alleys. Among these wonders there are also religious architectures and historical monuments guarded by the village, such as: the imposing mother church of San Michele Arcangelo which stands on the ruins of a previous Renaissance church; the menhir "di Ussano" located in the hamlet of Giuliano which attests since the Bronze Age the presence of man in this area and the Castle of Giuliano which was built in the early sixteenth century in the ancient heart of the town (the fortress is one of the few in Salento to have kept its original appearance intact). My municipality also includes the hamlets of Giuliano di Lecce, Salignano and Santa Maria di Leuca, a splendid town located a few steps from me characterized by its crystalline sea that can be seen from here. In reality, the seas of Santa Maria di Leuca are two, here in fact the Adriatic and the Ionian meet giving life to a breathtaking spectacle. This unique panorama each year attracts thousands of tourists and pilgrims headed to the Sanctuary of the Madonna de Finibus Terrae, "on the edge of the earth", the last strip of land before the end of Italy. I find that I am a land of about 23,000 square meters which includes 400 olive trees, a citrus grove enclosed by typical dry stone walls, a well and a room characterized by a typical barrel vault. Here it is possible to enjoy a tranquility and a unique simplicity in an uncontaminated nature, among ancient trees and a blue sea that can also be admired from here.
