DESIGN VILLA WITH PARK AND POOL IN A PANORAMIC POSITION BETWEEN PESCARA AND CHIETI
The villa is located in a unique position on the top of one of the highest hills (290 metres) between Pescara and Chieti, 10' drive from Chieti and the toll booth A14 Pescara west motorway, less than 15' from the airport and 18' from Pescara.
The villa is surrounded by a fully fenced tree-lined garden of over 8,000 m2, with oaks, pines, cypresses, cedars, humilis palms, etc. and walls/stairways with ancient brick tiles.
Inside the garden there is a large swimming pool 16 meters long and 6 meters wide, with two technical and service rooms. It is possible to restore a bowling green currently converted into a panoramic terrace.

The villa, completed in 1968, summarizes the typical aspects of the design architecture of the late Sixties linked to informality, especially of relational spaces. Great emphasis is therefore given to the freely disarticulated common spaces which find their architectural order in the volume of the large octagonal room with fireplace, defined on a compositional level by an interesting ribbed pavilion false ceiling made with boarding and lacquered wooden beams, which is set to a height of 3.80 metres, until reaching a height of 4.50 metres.
The large room is connected to the library room and the dining room, all with large and bright windows overlooking the 360° lawn that surrounds the villa. Two large antique doors from the 18th century regulate access to the sleeping area and the veranda-kitchen area. The sleeping area revolves around this volume and consists of four bedrooms separated from a corridor and three bathrooms.
All interior spaces have Tuscan-style red terracotta floors.
The kitchen is preceded by a large veranda with barbecue (both with air conditioning).
The structure of the villa involves the alternation of elements that evoke contemporaneity, such as the structural frame in steel profiles of the roof which also informs the large portico that surrounds the entire building, and of the typically Mediterranean architectural episodes, such as the three-headed solid brick load-bearing walls painted directly with lime, the tile roof and the external paving under the portico in Majella limestone pavers. The villa occupies a cadastral area of approximately 260 m² (>300 m² with the large attic under the roof and the 2 rooms serving the swimming pool).
The entrance to the property takes place through an automatic gate up to the square in front of the entrance to the house which allows the parking of several cars.
