CANEVARE I don't know why this house is called "Cà dla posta". When I meet Valerio, the local historian, I want to ask him about the history of this house. From the name I can assume that once there was the Canevare post office ... once in every hamlet and village there was one. I also remember these small offices, all furnished in the same way, with an employee and a postman around to deliver the letters. it is 4 kilometers from the village along the road that leads to the ski lifts and to all the most beautiful paths that lead from the village to the highest peak and from there to the most beautiful ridge of the Apennines.
Canevare, two squares, a stone church , a bell tower, two fountains, a restaurant that I recommend, a hotel above, a SPA wellness. I want to tell you something about the restaurant: it is an institution. The dining room of Gabriella and her three daughters (the Gabrielline) is a must for anyone passing by! Seeing is believing!
Right in front of Gabriella's restaurant and hotel there is this yellow square house, a house that after a long period of abandonment has been reborn thanks to a group of people who have taken care of the careful renovation and 6 new apartments have been built.
Of three of these apartments I am talking to you today, there are a two-room apartment on the ground floor (1172A), a two-room apartment on the first floor (1172B) with a lovely terrace and a three-room apartment on the first floor with a terrace and garage ( 1172C).
