Dammuso via Cimillia, Pantelleria

located in one of the most prestigious and exclusive areas of Pantelleria, inside the archaeological park, a splendid independent dammuso of about 75 square meters with surrounding private garden and sea view. the dammuso is located in Cimillia-Sesi in the splendid territorial area of the archaeological park of Sesi a few steps from the sea and a few kilometers from the town of Pantelleria center. the house is located on a traffic road
exclusively used for residents (3 houses) called the local road. internal of about 72 square meters. the house is planned to have two covered pergolas one to the west and one to the south of 45 square meters, plus an open terrace of 20 square meters. large parking lots for exclusive use
are reserved for the pertinence of the house in the northern area. the house is equipped
as a typical pantesco dammuso with a cistern for the water reserve of about 350 quintals (35 cubic meters) connected to a pump for the distribution of sanitary water and for food use. according to the provisions of the project, the sewer connected to a leaky well has already been built. the electricity meter is located at the entrance to the property. the house is covered with lava stone completely worked by hand and the typical roofing in domes made of tuff with waterproofing and natural lime finish. this system allows the recovery of rainwater which is
conveyed to the cistern. kitchenettes are provided in colored concrete batter. the fixtures approved in the project backward with respect to the façade line must be made of wood in compliance with the construction typology. the dammuso is inserted in a large plot of land of over 5000
sqm with unobstructed view on all fronts (sea view and view of the king's sese grande) .
the scope is that of the archaeological area of mursia-cimillia one of the most important in Pantelleria. in 2000 BC Pantelleria was the cradle of a fascinating civilization, characterized by unique monuments in the world, called sesi. the plain where the house is located is very varied both
morphologically with floors and hills with volcanic rocks of different colors and as a habitat of the
flora where cactus and caper plants stand out that growing on the bare rock are the emblem of the 'island, is
multiple Mediterranean plant species (Pantelleria holds 650 types out of the 12000 of the entire area
meditterranea) .
