Single family villa via San Giorgio 28, Faggiano

On the first date it was immediately home! It was 2008 and I fell in love with it. It was a deep love, with attention to detail, nourished and grown over time.
Our "bonbonniera", a detached house, completely renovated in a rustic and classic style, is located in a village of times past, a 3-minute walk from the pine forest, just 13 km from Taranto, in the small and well-connected Faggiano.

To get to the house, you can arrive "from above" or "from below", because the house takes up an entire corner and has two entrances.
You can choose to arrive from Via Dante and go down 10 steps which open the doors to the historic center paved entirely in chianche or arrive from below, or from Via San Giorgio, a one-way street that gives you the sensation of being in a medieval village. There, going up you will find this lovely ocher yellow house in front. You can park "upstairs or downstairs" because the beauty is that being the historic centre, there is no traffic and car smog.

Ideal for those looking for a private, relaxing setting but at the same time in a well-served area ( market, bank, post office, petrol station, bars, schools, green areas).
Just 3 minutes on foot you can benefit from this charming little green lung and, less than 10 minutes by car, enjoy the sandy beaches of the coast jonica.
Excellent for welcoming a family, thanks to the large internal spaces, divided into living and sleeping areas.
But not only that! Ideal for a single person who wants to enjoy a quiet, relaxing environment in the heart of a welcoming historic village. And then, there are meters, two entrances and more services too, so it is ideal for those who want to create a holiday home or a b&b.
From the external atrium, you enter the house. This atrium can accommodate two deck chairs, an umbrella and a table, where you can sunbathe even in winter, which I know seems impossible for those coming from the north, but it's like this with us!

Opening the door, you will find on the left 1 Garofoli sliding glass door which opens to a large and elegant living room, followed by 2 bedrooms, one of which with a private bathroom. On the right, in the entrance, we can go down to the rumpus room where the warmth of a warm wood-burning fireplace welcomes us in an open space environment, with a built-in kitchen with a country style island. There is more storage (closets and under the stairs), a small laundry room.

Other beautiful things about this house?
The convenience of being able to live in it without having to do any work, the fact that it is left partially furnished (the entire built-in kitchen with stove and oven), the independent LPG heating with convector heaters and radiators, the alarm system with two video intercoms (which are always significant costs but all this is included in the price). The exposed vaults and the particular finishes of the hall.
