Apartment piazza Saturno, Centro, Atina

Palazzo Fasoli is an illustrious and noble building located in the central Piazza Saturno, in the heart of the historic medieval town of Atina. After 1700 the Fasoli family restored and enlarged their palace, enriching it with frescoes, friezes and other decorations in a very refined Baroque style. one with six rooms and two bathrooms constitutes the "noble floor", and the other on the attic floor to be completed.
You enter the building from a sumptuous door in Piazza Saturno, which leads to a stone staircase with wrought iron railings.
The first of the two apartments, located on the second floor, consists of: an entrance hall, a living room (with a marble fireplace), a lounge, two studies, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. Most of the rooms feature original, beautifully painted wooden coffered ceilings and antique parquet floors. Each ceiling, 3.60 m high, is designed in different colors and motifs, giving a unique feeling and identity to each room: the monuments and historical places of the Samnite town are recalled in the decorative iconography, excellently highlighted in every room. The external part of the building is embellished with two balconies with wrought iron railings, which dominate the square. A separate family entrance, less formal but very functional, leads directly to the dining room, the kitchen, the master bedroom suite and the guest bedrooms. The second apartment, to be restored, is located on the floor above. Here there is a bathroom / laundry room and four other rooms: two overlooking the square and two overlooking the valley, with antique terracotta floors and a balcony. This area could be used to create further separate living quarters, or a hobby room, a relaxation area, a gym.
Two further outdoor areas, common between the two apartments, complete the building: a roof terrace, one of the highest. of the historic center and an internal courtyard on the ground floor. The terrace offers a breathtaking 360 ° view, on one side you can admire in the foreground the wonderful historical monuments of Atina such as the Palazzo Ducale and the famous dome of the cathedral, on the other, where the eye arrives, the countryside and mountains that surround the enchanting Comino Valley.
Palazzo Fasoli has excellent road access and there is a close entrance to the Sora / Cassino highway.
