A new residential project is born in Monza by architect Mario Cucinella and his studio MCA - Mario Cucinella Architects.
Located within an area of great historical and landscape value for the city, the "Giardino Reale" residential complex aims to create a pleasant and comfortable environment where the beauty of architecture is combined with a landscape made of arboreal and shrubby essences that change according to the seasons and the alternation of the sun. urban planning and building in the municipality of Monza. The project was developed with the intention of fully exploiting its potential through the use of technological solutions aimed at maximizing energy sustainability and, of a contemporary architectural language but, built to harmoniously dialogue with the important historical and natural pre-existing structures offered by the its context. Energy sustainability and bioclimatic design are just some of the key factors of the intervention. the volume of which will have a unique character, easily recognizable and above all shaped to the design needs of the area and context. The integration of the project with the park will be emphasized by the shapes that will give life to a landscape shaped by the organic geometries of the terraces, which, recalling the colors and the materiality of the historic chimney, will frame the green heart of the new courtyard.
The residential complex, consisting of two buildings, is spread over 5 floors above ground. On the ground floor, the private gardens characterize the design of the external areas, blending with the geometries of the upper floors and the surrounding natural system. The two buildings become a single integrated system thanks to the roof that unites them on the second floor. The volumes of the third floor lose their linearity, transforming, at the ends towards Viale Cesare Battisti, into organic elements that house more prestigious homes with direct view on the roof which is partly used as a terrace / garden for private use. The fourth floor, on the other hand, is characterized by the presence of penthouses that have a unique shape that accentuates their exclusivity thanks also to the large private outdoor spaces deriving from the coverage of the third floor. Complete the housing solution, in the basement, as well as garages and cellars, a SPA and a gym for the exclusive use of residents.
