Various design solutions respond to every type of need: from apartments two-room apartments up to large four-room apartments on the attic floor.
The project involves the construction of 26 apartments of various sizes: on the ground and last floors there are 4 large apartments, the intermediate floors (first, second and third) will each be composed of 6 residential units of different sizes: 2 two-room apartments, 2 three-room apartments with open-space living area and 2 three-room apartments with eat-in kitchen; finally, the attic floor will consist of 2 three-room apartments with eat-in kitchen and 2 four-room apartments with eat-in kitchen. The basement will accommodate 28 garages as well as some cellars and technical rooms. Great attention was paid to the distribution of the rooms of each accommodation, obtaining an overall homogeneity from the point of view of the views: taking advantage of the possibility of having the orientation of the building along the east-west axis, the living areas of all the rooms were designed apartments along the southern front and the sleeping area in the northern portion; this solution allows maximum efficiency in the exploitation of natural light.
The depth of the terraces overlooking the daytime environments of the residential units are such as to guarantee good control of natural light as well as the heat of solar radiation, ensuring shading in the summer period and in while allowing the penetration of light inside the rooms in the winter phase. The heating system will be centralized and will consist of a condensing boiler combined with a heat pump while the production of domestic hot water will be supported by solar thermal panels placed on the roof; photovoltaic solar panels will always be installed on the roof.
