On the Grosseto side of the Amiata, surrounded by a chestnut wood, stands a rural village at 940m above sea level born at the end of the 18th century. Hut.
It is a still uncontaminated site, easily reachable through a dirt road connected to the provincial road. Here we find the house on offer. It is a single house dating back to 1909 in perfect conditions of use and maintenance which is spread over three floors. There are four bedrooms, there is a bathroom, living room, eat-in kitchen and a characteristic tavern on the ground floor where we also find the technical room. The heating is with wood, conveyed by a thermo stove. At least two parking spaces, a pergola and an outdoor terrace from which to access the private wood (300 sqm) accompany the property. To complete the description it is added that the roof has been redone and the fixtures are of excellent workmanship (external hatches). Among the characteristics of the village there is the free right, for the inhabitants, to access the drinking water of the nearby source as well as to the fact that much of the trails of Monte Amiata (the so-called Water Paths) unwinds from there. Distances: Bagni San Filippo 20 km, Bagno Vignoni 25 km, Castel del Piano 9 km, Seggiano 7.4 km, Vetta Amiata 13 km, Grosseto 64 km.
