Prunetto is located in Alta Langa (Piedmont) on the ridge between the Bormida and Uzzone valleys. From 750 m. of height you can enjoy an unusual panorama that ranges from the Ligurian Apennines to the Cottian Alps, offering a wonderful spectacle: hills dotted with villages and castles, the "bricchi", the vineyards perched on the slopes, the dry stone walls, the rivers that flow silent in the valley, nature with the magical colors of the changing seasons. Prunetto is the repository of noteworthy art treasures, today national monuments such as the medieval castle, the Battagliera, a characteristic square portico, which was the ancient gateway to the castle, and the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Carmine which preserves valuable frescoes.
The rural building with rustic annex and other relevance dominates the hill and is ideal, after a careful renovation, as a farmhouse or B&B where tranquility reigns and at the same time allows walks and routes with bicycles.
