The Meira Garneri refuge, at the arrival of the second chairlift, is the starting point for ski-mountaineering trips to Mount Cugulet (2494 m) and excursions with snowshoes, on marked trails, towards Pian delle Baracche and the panoramic Sampeyre pass. At the start of the first chairlift there is a 650 sq m skating rink. skis for the first time, they can count on a treadmill about a hundred meters long, while for board lovers there is also an equipped snow park with 1 rail and 3 jumps. mostly in the Sampeyre area: between 1500 and 2500 m, on the slopes of Monviso, stone pines rise, some of which are more than 500 - 600 years old.
