Levanzo (in Sicilian Lèvanzu) is the smallest and also the most romantic of the islands belonging to the Egadi archipelago. Its landscapes, unique in their kind, are made up of white limestone rocks that are divided into numerous caves. The town is very small and from the sea it looks like a crib with a small port which is just 15 km from Trapani, in a strategic position for reach the other islands of the Egadi.
The island has no rolling roads (apart from a small stretch of paved road that leads to the Faraglione beach), you can only move on foot and life takes on the rhythm of the sun. This condition largely contributes to the integrity of its scenic beauty.
