The house I propose to you is for true connoisseurs, those who, when they think of the sea, imagine a small, charming house in the countryside, above a remote bay, far from the chaos.
This three-room apartment is located on the north coast of the Island of Elba about 3km from the town of Marciana Marina, in loc. La Cala. To get there, there is a paved road that climbs about 2 km from the village, leave the car in a sort of parking lot (public, few places) and continue on foot along a path (not lit) for about 1 km.
The alternative, if you have a small dinghy, is to get there by sea, but in case of bad weather you should take it to the beach (if allowed), or otherwise bring it to the port.

If you choose this solution you must be a Spartan type, shoes comfortable for walking and backpacking, certainly not suitcases and trolleys. You will surely be rewarded.
The house consists of a large living room with kitchenette, two bathrooms, a bedroom and another small room with bunk beds. Terrace and outdoor space, the sea view is not missing

The structure is rustic-characteristic, it recalls the typical warehouses of Elba, the house was renovated in the mid-eighties, they were old warehouses that were bought by 5 friends and refurbished. The furnishings are simple but functional.

Why choose this house?
Keep in mind that there are other houses and villas nearby, you are not exactly isolated. As a location it is unique, about 100 m there is the Cala bay, a small pebble beach, the water has transparency that leaves you speechless and then you will certainly find tranquility here even in the middle of August.

Not I tell you that it's a comfortable solution, it's a bit like choosing to go to a bivouac, you have to bring your own food, water and suitcases, but as a location it's exclusive, not for everyone.

If you are a walker or a cyclist from here it is possible through the various paths to reach all points of the island, as long as you feel like it!
