Here we are in Vivo D'Orcia, a small Tuscan village in the municipality of Castiglione D'Orcia, on the slopes of Mount Amiata: on one side the chestnut woods, on the other the Val D'Orcia.

Inside, expertly restored ancient rooms - even in the plant engineering - where you can rediscover the taste of the past in spaces made to be lived in and enjoyed today. We raise our eyes to admire the ceilings in beams and bricks, we lower them to appreciate the well-preserved ancient floor in account, the monolithic stairs of local stone. Each environment reveals perfect harmony, where the attention to detail does not allow falls of any kind, not even in the most hidden corners and one is absorbed by an enveloping atmosphere that accompanies the path inside the house. On the ground floor there is an eat-in kitchen, as used in the past, with a large fireplace where a modern ventilated insert has been inserted which integrates the heating on both floors. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom serving this floor and a welcoming and spacious living room. The first floor houses two bedrooms and a bathroom. Overlooking an attic floor, currently left unfinished but with heights such as to allow an extension of the house. The roof, covered with the original tiles, was renovated in 2018 with insulation and new tiles.
In front of the house an annex, also in stone. Spread over two floors. It has a French window as well as two windows. Used as a shed and hobby room, it can find, with a renovation, the possibility of transformation for different uses.
