Cursolo-Orasso are two small villages with around 90 inhabitants, located in the Cannobina Valley and part of the Val Grande National Park.
In Orasso there is the parish church of San Materno, dating back to the end of the 16th century, inside there is a wooden Baroque altar, the bell tower, a fine example of Romanesque style, stands in the churchyard in front of the church.
Outside the village is an oratory dedicated to the Madonna del Sasso, which contains some of the oldest frescoes in the valley. ]
The small village of Cursolo is characterised by a row of buildings facing south, there is a 17th century stately building known as the "Palazzetto", the parish church is dedicated to Sant'Antonio Abate.
There is a grocery shop, a bar-restaurant and a small hotel in the village.
The Cannobina Valley and the Val Grande National Park have a wealth of footpaths and Cursolo and Orasso are the starting point for endless nature walks.
