An ancient and consolidated tradition has it that San Costanzo was originally called Monte Campanaro by a noblewoman from Perugia, she would have changed her name. In reality, from the examination of numerous and authoritative documents, it can be affirmed with absolute certainty that the castle of San Costanzo and that of Monte Campanaro were territorially close but very distinct from each other.
The name San Costanzo would actually be an agiotoponym ( place name that is identified with that of a saint) and would date back to the early medieval period of Byzantine domination. In the area there certainly existed a small chapel or country altar dedicated to Bishop Costanzo in January 175 AD and, from this cult, the name of the locality San Costanzo originated, following a custom that was widespread at the time. The relic of the patron saint is actually kept in the archives of the collegiate church. Its presence is attested by a document from the Episcopal archive of Fano; in the new residential area with a fabulous sea view we have a building lot for a single, independent villa, it is part of a completion area. The project and the construction itself can be obtained in a very short time, service of local technicians available for greater on-site assistance.
