Villa Capri is situated in Itri, a small town between Rome and Naples. The house was built around an abandoned steel concrete skeleton and is a mixture of contemporary architecture and classical lines, signed by Cherubino Gambardella and Simona Ottieri, two architects specialized in re-designing abandoned structures, transforming them into holiday homes in the style of Mediterranean classicism. The atmosphere is magical: the villa is located in a serene olive grove with sixty-year-old trees and ancient dry walls. A perfectly quiet place with no traffic noise or light smog, with a strategic position: shops, restaurants, bars and the Via Appia are only five minutes away and the famous beaches of Sperlonga can be reached in 15 minutes.
